About the Artist

Alicia "Amazon" Johnson has been an artist for many years, with a background in fine arts and over 20 years of experience in the tattoo industry. Licensed in both Tennessee and Arkansas, Alicia made history as the first woman to own and operate a tattoo studio in the state of Arkansas.

As the owner and artist behind Amazon Tattooz in West Memphis, Arkansas, Alicia enjoys working across a variety of tattoo styles. Her particular passions include detailed cover-ups, vibrant floral designs, and black-and-grey tattoos.

Beyond the artistry, Alicia enjoys meeting new people, hearing their stories, and creating connections through her work. Tattooing has given her the opportunity to pursue her passion while helping others express themselves, celebrate meaningful experiences, and feel more confident through art.
